EXORCISM IN WORSHIP
A Prayer of Repentance for Church and then America
In realizing the mysterious ways of The Lord, which defy natural thought, we should understand we do not have to respond to the call to repentance. It is our choice. Please do not misunderstand me. I absolutely believe God requires it at some point of each and every soul and even a habit of it, but not from a mindset of shame or guilt; from a mindset of a desire to grow. He is patient. He just won't plead with us forever. There is absolutely NO growth in God without dealing with the sin and darkness within ourselves. If we don't have at least a beginning of a fear of the Lord arising in us to be ready for those things coming, it is only blind imagination to think no terror will ever come to us, to imagine God would never allow it. Although it would please God, it is not required that America repent. There is another way. It can be worked out through trials and judgments. Once they happen in earnest, we will cry to The Lord to give us The Gift of Repentance. Worthy of a reading is the Word from prophet Dr. David Owuor, from Kenya, a Word concerning America. A Repentance Prayer
We, as Your creatures, Your servants and Your children of the United States of America, Lord, ask You, Lord, if Lord, You would deign to look favorably again upon our flag and to heal us and our nation, to prepare us for the time of Earth's darkness ahead that we may come through as a nation restored and reborn, as a sheep nation in the time of Your Majestic Reign.

This being but part of our sins, we confess and seek forgiveness and restoration, O Lord Redeemer, for:
-
Exchanging the pure spirit of a love for redemption and instead embracing a judging / criticizing spirit based upon many biases against others
-
Tolerating Witchcraft in all its many forms in our systems of government, news and entertainment
-
Letting impostors into Your Sanctuary to defile it, this being perhaps our most grievous sin
Another Repentance Prayer taken from The Apocryphal Prayer of Azariah

Background
From the book of Daniel, the three young men, Hananian, Mishael, and Azariah, started walking around in the flames, singing hymns to God and praising Him as Lord. Then Azariah stood still and there in the fire he prayed aloud:

Adapted Prayer, at least for the future when reality sets in
O Lord, the God of our ancestors, we praise and adore you; May Your Name be honored forever. You have treated us as we deserve. In everything You have done to us You are always honest, and when You bring us to judgement, You are always fair. You did what was right when You brought disaster on America and Your church as with Jerusalem of old. We deserved judgement because of our sins. We disobeyed You. We turned our backs on You, and we are guilty of every sin. We did not do the things that You commanded us to do. If we had obeyed Your laws, we would have prospered, but now we deserve the judgement and punishment that You have brought upon us. You have handed us over to lawless, hateful and defiant enemies. - to the most wicked men in the world. And now all of us who worship You are humiliated; we are too ashamed to open our mouths... But, we come to You with repentant hearts and humble spirits, begging You to accept us just as if we had come with burnt offerings. Accept our repentance as our sacrifice to You today, so that we may obey You with all our hearts. No one who trusts You will ever be disappointed. Amen.

Optional additional ending:
Now with all our hearts, if You help us Lord, knowing how easily we fail at promises, we desire and intend to obey You, worship You, and come to You in prayer. Treat us with kindness and mercy, and never let use be put to shame. O Lord, rescue us with one of Your miracles; bring honor to Your Name. Bring disgrace and shame, if salvation is not to be, on all who harm us. Take away their might and power and crush their strength. Let them know that You alone are Lord and God and that You Rule in Majesty over the whole world. Amen.
Western Rite Prayer (modified for national repentance)
O GOD, Whose nature it is ever to show mercy and to spare, receive our petition, that this thy servant, the United States of America, bound by the fetters of sin, may by thy sweet forgiveness be pardoned. O HOLY Lord, almighty Father, eternal God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who didst one time consign that fugitive and fallen tyrant to everlasting hell fire, Who didst send thy Sole-Begotten into the world to crush that spirit of evil with his bellowing, do thou speedily give heed and hasten to snatch from ruination and from the noonday demon us human beings of this nation established by Your Loving Purpose, created in thine image and likeness. Strike terror, O Lord, into the beast that lays waste thy vineyard. Grant confidence to thy servants to fight most manfully against that reprobate dragon, lest he dare despise them who put their trust in thee, and least he say with Pharaoh, who once declared: “I know not God, neither will I let Israel go!” Let thy powerful right hand prevail upon him to depart from thy servant, so that he may no longer hold captive us whom it has pleased thee to make in thine image and to redeem through thy Son. Thou Who livest and reignest in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and forevermore. Amen.
